Frequently asked questions

Short answers about how ProblemBank actually works today.

How do I submit a problem?

Create a free account, then use “Post a problem”. Describe who is affected, why it matters, what has been tried and any constraints. You can save progress and come back.

What evidence should I include?

Anything that shows the problem is real: observations, links, numbers you measured, or reports. Evidence helps reviewers, but it is optional at submission — a reviewer may ask for more information.

Who reviews problems?

AI first gathers context and flags gaps. A human ProblemBank reviewer then verifies the problem, asks for more information, or declines it with a reason. Only verified problems are publicly listed.

How do I propose a solution?

Open a verified problem and propose a solution with your approach, assumptions and limitations. Solutions are reviewed by ProblemBank before a team can build on them.

How do teams work?

Once a problem has a verified solution, a team can form. The Team Lead invites members, assigns tasks and milestones, and the team coordinates in a private Problem-Chat. Tasks and milestones need evidence before they can be approved.

How does testing work?

After ProblemBank approves the development stage, the team tests the solution against stated success criteria and submits results with evidence. A ProblemBank reviewer accepts the results or asks for more testing.

What does “verified impact” mean?

A team submits what changed, how it was measured and supporting evidence. It only shows as verified after a human reviewer approves it. Pending or rejected impact is never shown as verified, and demo examples never count.

Is ProblemBank free?

Yes. Posting problems, proposing solutions and joining teams is free. Payment or sponsorship can never buy verification.

Who can see my information?

Verified problems and public profile fields are visible to everyone. Team chats, files, evidence, drafts and account details are private to the people allowed to see them. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, from Settings. Some records you contributed to shared work may be kept in anonymised form so a team's history stays accurate.

What are demo records?

Clearly labelled example problems and solutions that show how the journey works. They are not real outcomes.

How do I get help?
